It all started when I came across a bunch of shattered paint brushes in my shed and said “they are beautiful” and 15 minutes later I was a pop artist dripping and splattering paint on canvas and the beginning of my “PAINTBRUSH” series…that led to dripping and splattering on the “WINE BOTTLE” series of paintings...suddenly realizing that I can control the drips.
I then tried it on a head shot and now Marilyn and the important “ICON” series was born followed by Frank, Elvis, Michael, Prince, Beyoncé plus more and more; Mona Lisa, Celia Cruz. The BABE, and Jo Di, and the comic Dick Tracy (Warhol, did him too, King Kong and the New York taxi “GRIDLOCK” series, everything could be POP...I studies art all my life which led me into a career as a ‘Mad Man’ until I retired and stumble across that pile of beautiful splattered paint brushes.
